Alta Devices is a developer and manufacturer of gallium arsenide (GaAs) photovoltaic (PV) cells for use in non-grid connected solar applications such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), sensors, consumer electronics, automobiles, and portable remote power. Alta Devices was acquired by Hanergy in August 2014.
