Stem

Stem is a leader in behind-the-meter energy storage applications, delivering cost savings to customers through peak demand reduction and to utilities through demand response programs. The Stem system combines industry-leading lithium ion batteries with Stem’s proprietary software for analyzing and predicting demand. The software then deploys stored energy as needed to flatten a customer’s load profile or aggregate resources across the utility’s territory for demand response events. Stem went public in 2021 through a reverse merger with a special purpose acquisiton company.
